In the realm of the tech world, smart homes are the next big thing or already is! Smart home technology has an effect on more than just the homes in which it is placed. Its influence extends to other fields like business, science, and even health care.

Smart Homes are the most recent development in the field of home automation. This technology is rapidly gaining popularity, especially since the pandemic. Here are some interesting facts regarding smart home devicesthat you may not be aware of.

Fact-1: The earliest smart houses have existed for a long time.

Isn’t the idea of an intelligent house relatively new? Smart home gadgets were already on the market ten years ago, but owning one at home was unusual. Being the owner of great smart home gadgets appears to be more of a norm than an exception these days. However, contrary to popular belief, the first smart home devices were created between 1966 and 1967.

The ECHO IV and the Kitchen Computer were their names. The ECHO IV aided in the management of digital clocks and the regulation of air conditioning (yep, even back then!). The other, the Kitchen Computer, was advertised for $10,000 and weighed about 45 kg. It could be used to store recipes. However, there was no proof of it!

Fact-2: It is possible to upgrade “dumb” devices to “smart” gadgets.

Yes, this is possible. That means you don’t have to purchase many smart high tech gadgets to make your house smart. You can quickly and easily turn your “dumb” devices into “smart” devices with just a smart plug. How?

Connect your device’s cable to the Smart Socket. After then, you may use your smartphone to manage it. Set a timer or a time limit for your iron to switch off automatically after 10 minutes, for example. You can also set your regular lights to turn on as soon as you enter the home.

Fact-3 Your smart high tech gadgets like collaborating.

The fact that your smart home devices are designed to work together is something that many people are unaware of. They work well together. Because they are all linked to the internet and frequently to the same Wi-Fi platform, it is very simple for them to do so. You might call it a “connected house” instead of a “smart home.”

Do you want to turn on the lights in both the living room and the bedroom at once? Or the ones that appear in the hallway when your Smart Security Camera senses motion? Setting up your gadgets and connecting them to each other takes seconds with the assistance of a smart home app. Isn’t it useful?

Fact-4: You save money with a smart house.

Smart lights use led lights, which are much more energy-efficient than traditional energy-saving bulbs or halogen lighting. Your lights turn out automatically when you leave the house. You may even set it such that when you come home, just two of the five light bulbs turn on at half power.

Your energy cost will be (much) reduced. The same is true when utilizing a Smart Socket. Thanks to a built-in energy monitor, you can always see how much energy your plugged-in gadget for home use. So you don’t have to spend a lot of money to have a smart house. In fact, by intelligently conserving energy, you may be able to recoup the cost of your devices?

Fact-5: Machine learning makes your smart home really smart.

Your smartphone is all that is required to switch on your Smart Socket. Wherever you are, your smart doorbell will show you who is at the door. Everything is accomplished via the use of the internet. But because they’re connected to the internet, smart home equipment doesn’t immediately become smart, do they?

Smart home devices only become really intelligent when they can think, make choices, and learn. This is possible by a technology known as “machine learning.” Your Smart Bulbs will learn that they should turn on at 7 a.m. on a weekday based on your user data. They will execute the act without the need to manually set anything up. However, we aren’t quite there yet, but we will be shortly…
